Playback not working, stuck
The file was created about 4 months ago and has an organ score, photo attached. Playback doesn't happen, and it just stays put wherever I start i.t

What do you see in Preferences > Audio & MIDI?
Unfortunately, nobody can hear your photo.
What we need is the score (that means the .mscz file).
It would also be useful to know your platform details (OS version, MuseScore version). You can copy this info from the menu path:
Help > About MuseScore Studio... > Revision > (click copy icon)
