Remove Rest

I use PlayScore 2 to play the accompaniment parts for my choir pieces since I am not a good player. I found out the PlayScore 2 midi file will open in MuseScore. I have a piece where the audio imported weird, and I've begun to edit the score. I have a measure where I had to change the time signature, and now everything else is thrown off my a beat. How do I delete a quarter rest at the very beginning so that everything starts a beat earlier, without having to rewrite the entire score of music?

Select the very first note at the top left, then press Shift and click the last note at the bottom right at the end of the score. Cut (Ctrl + X), then paste at the beginning; which in your case, paste (Ctrl + V) on the rest right after the 6/8 meter for that third instrument. Hope this helps.
