MuseScore can't update on new Mac
I recently switched to a MacBook Pro M4 Max on OS 15.1.1. MuseScore tells me an update is possible to 4.33 (I have 4.3.2) but when I try to install, I get this message: The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again.
Which items? The MuseScore app Get Info shows unlock and all sharing/pemissions set to read and write. What am I missing?

Me, too. Frustrating.
It's been 3 months, evidently. Please help us
Hi All - This was my workaround. I have two accounts on the mac (I must of installed MuseScore orginally on the non-admin account).
Step 1) Login to non-admin account
Step 2) Drag MuseScore from installer to Applications folder (Enter admin password when prompted)
Step 3) Try launching MuseScore from non-admin account
Step 4) Try launching MuseScore from admin (main account)
