Gregorian chant: Tone repetitions in modern notation for psalmody (psalm tones)
I'm trying to engrave a Gregorian psalmody exactly like this one here, in modern notation:

The example stems from here:

ISSUE 1:
There should be noteheads in black with single (not double) vertical lines left and right, which indicate "tone is repeated over several syllabes". As it seems, musescore does not offer single-lined noteheads, neither filled nor empty noteheads, just empty double-lined noteheads in the visual option of the notehead...
ISSUE 2:
Moreover, in the lyrics of the verses, there should be some important clamps connecting several syllabes, e.g. in "Herr, zu" or "Ohr mir". Is there any possibility to produce that in MS4?
Thank you!

I can only see noteheads with single lines beside: the breve ("double whole note", looks like a whole note with single lines either side), and the longa (looks like a half note with single lines). I don't see any noteheads with double lines, though I assume that the maxima might have them (can't see it for some reason). You might find something useful in the Noteheads section of the Handbook: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/noteheads.
For the lyrics question, read the Lyrics section of the Handbook: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/lyrics, especially the sections on Entering syllables, Entering a melisma, and Elision slur.

Thank you for your suggestions! Meanwhile, I found a solution for the noteheads: In the table of all symbols, there's a symbol for note clusters which provides left and right single outer lines. With Leland font, it is possible to scale this symbol to match a notehead. Then position can be fine-adjusted. The overall behaviour is even better than the "no length" note options, which behaves somewhat strange with copy&paste.
I'll provide a musescore example for Gregorian psalmody as a reference, as soon as I'm done.
Hereby a pic is attached showing what I have been able to achieve for the noteheads so far. :-)
As for the lyrics, the curved elision slur is not quite what I'm looking for. Musescore's elision slur connects only two syllabes. In my case, however, there might even more syllabes be connected with a bracket. I have a first ansatz, namely by using the frame symbols of the Courier New typeface and by artificially halfing the separation between two lines of text. This isn't perfect at present, because I can't scale the bracket properly,
but playing around with several frame symbols might provide a solution.
