Saving Online
For many years, to save a score online, I used the 'Save Online' tag in the File menu. After confirming that you are registered, this took one to a questionaire asking things like genre, is this your original work, etc, and an opportunity to comment on one's score. Of late this does not work. Just a blank page appears. Nevertheless the score is still uploaded and appears as one of the scores in one's 'Score Manager'.
There is a way around this. Opening one's 'Score Manager' and then clicking the Upload button, the same process is followed. All OK. However, if one want's to update a score that has previously been uploaded, the 'Save Online' would identify the score and ask if you want to update this score. Very useful. Don't have to re-enter everything. I used it often. But now, with 'Save Online' not operational, and having to select the upload on Score Manager, the 'updating' option is not available and any score that you want to update is simply treated as a new score. I use 3.6.2.- I stick with this as it has an almost universal (any instrument) note bending facility and any 4.x.x version has this only for guitars.
Comments please.

Known issue with 3.6.2, fixed it n my 3.7 Evolution

Hi Jojo,
As I said I have down loaded 3.7 Evolution which works fine, but the problem still persists - that of 'Save on line' just stopping, but still putting the score into my score manager..
Another problem is that if you close MuseScore Evolution, the icon dissapears in the task bar. This never happened with 3.6.2. If you then click on the Windows app list, either in Settings>apps or on the desktop, only the old 3.6.2 icon is there and then it opens up with 3.6.2 - not 3.7 Evolution. - so there is no 3.7 Icon and no means of reopening 3.7.

What exactly do you mean by that? It should now open a browser window in your default browser rather than using the non-working 'internal' Qt webengine 'browser'
Start 3.7, right-click the icon in the task bar, pin it.

Thank you for your response.
However, the score that was exported appears my score manager , but is there without having answered all the usual question like: is this my own score, on what score is this song based, what genre ( a menu would appear of choices) , what ensemble (again a menu), etc and the opportunity to comment.
Also the only icon I then have left is in the Windows 11 app list, (or in the Settings app list) and when I click on this it is my old 3.6.2 that opens. So I have to go through the whole process, of installing 3.7, finding a green ticked build, using the 7z . exe app etc.
Note: this may all be a Windows thing and not a MuseScore one.
Henry

No need to 'install' 3.7 time and time again (other that to have the latest update), just go to the place you unpacked it to, there into the bin directory, there double-click MuseScore 4.exe.
You can create a link to that on your dasktop (just drag it there, optionally change name)
Yes that's a Windows thing, but works, I'm non Windows 11 too
