I have the same problem since yesterday. There are files created with extension autosave_saving but the original file disappears after saving and the error message invalid". I stopped autosave but it is to early to tell if this helps.

Try these instructions (for Windows and Mac) : https://musescore.org/en/node/373387#comment-1273709

I quote and paste here to make it easier for other members with the same problem to read and see.

For Windows

  1. Press ⊞ Win + R
  2. Copy/Paste: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\MuseScore\MuseScore4\cloud_scores
  3. Press Enter (or Click OK)
  4. Look there for a file that might be called not_uploaded.mscz or something similar.
  5. If you find something interesting, copy that file to another location (e.g. on your Desktop) and open from that new location

For Mac:

  1. Shift + Command (⌘) + G
  2. Copy/Paste:
    ~/Library/Application Support/MuseScore/MuseScore4/cloud_scores
  3. Press Enter (click OK)
  4. Look there for a file that might be called not_uploaded.mscz or something similar.
  5. If you find something interesting, copy that file to another location (e.g. on your Desktop) and open from that new location.
