More notes from Drum notation
Saw this topic a lot in the forum already. Most people here said that it just is this way and it would be hard to add more notes for drum notation since everything except A-G is used in some other shortcuts so you cant just have another note on an easy shortcut. I call BS... Guitar notation allows notation for up to the 14th fret and shortcuts are in place for everything up to the 9th fret (or the letter K). So why not have this possible for drum notation huhhhh???

I believe they said "difficult" rather than "cannot". Of course, you can add more shortcuts ... by overwriting existing shortcuts. Explore carefully the shortcuts you are overwriting: make sure you understand what functionality you are losing. Because you could, quite easily, break something beyond repair.
It's simply not THAT hard to use the letter keys available and then hit Up or Down.

not sure if i got your point but i am aware that i can add new shortcuts and overwrite old ones. however placing notes with shortcuts (at least for drum notation) is limited to the letters A-G (similar to music notes) whereas for guitar you can go placing tabs with shortcuts from 1-14 and you are able to assign shortcuts to 14 different notes (tabs in that case). for drums you can only assign 7 different shortcuts for different instruments of the drumkit. correct me if there is a way to add an 8th instrument with a shortcut.
