how to act on update message

I'm sorry, I really don't understand what I have to do here. I'm trying to update the MuseScore software and I don't understand which 'items' I have to select to change to read and write and where I find them. What is an item? The current ms4 is read and write. The update ms 4.4.4. is read and write. Are these 'items'?
