MuseScore Not Responding
As you'll see in the screenshot below, every minute or so when I am writing my piece, the monitor screen will grey out and words at the top left read "(Not Responding)" It says like this for a minute or so before returning to normal. I have tried doing the usual care when this happens, clearing cache and cookies, exterminating all other tabs leaving nothing but the MuseScore Studio tab, and also clearing the background work through the Task Manager. What else would you suggest to limit the program from freezing?

How big is this score and how many instruments? You might get more views if this was posted in one of the other forums meant for problems.

I guess musescore just tends to do that.
It depends on your hardware kinda too though.
Also, since you power-washed your computer recently it may be that stuff is being installed in the background still which is interfering with MS. Doubt it would keep working in installs for so long—unless you straight-up turn off your computer every time you’re finished haha—but it’s a thought.

Autosaves happen about as often. Disabling autosaves in Musescore's settings may solve this problem, but it will create another problem.
