Score in separate window
It used to be possible in MS3 to have the same score opened in two different windows. Is this possible in MS4?

This change was a deliberate act by the developers. It was done because of a new dependence because of the way that sound works in MuS 4.
There exists a two-year long discussion of this at https://musescore.org/en/node/338084. It has been frequently acrimonious and basically fruitless, so please don't add any more to it. It's extremely unlikely that anything you say will change anything ... it's all been said before, as you'll see in that thread.

But not with the same score

You can rename it, but of course it won't change automatically when you work on the other one ...

Alongside my score being developed, I see my original (renamed '....old') version, and can copy a bar or two from the old one back into the new if I make a mess of things. Still not ideal, I guess, but better than I'd anticipated.

That 2 year long discussion is about the multitab feature, I don't see how it is an answer to the O.P. asking to open the same score in 2 different windows?
