Sorry, but I don't understand the corruption message.

Incomplete measure: Part score: Violoncello, measure 25, staff 1. Found: 0/1. Expected: 4/4.

What is staff one of a one staff part? Just what is the problem with measure 25? Two whole notes in voice 2 and one whole note in voice 1 is not a problem.
And why did resetting the cello part fix it?

Yes, I know. But neither is incorrect. And changing either one to look like the other doesn't remove the corruption. And which one does the corruption refer to. And what is a 0/1 measure. And what is staff one of a one staff part?

Ok, my bad. Let's compare them with the colors of voices.
As you can see, the voice 1 (blue color) in violoncello part is completely missing.
Voice 1 cannot be missing. It must always be present in the form of notes or rests.
Found: 0/1 probably means Musescore expects whole rest or note but doesn't see anything. I don't know why it doesn't say 0/4 in the message.
Staff 1 means the first Staff in parts.
Parts can contain multiple staves and instruments.

I fixed it by adding a whole note in voice two to measure 26 and then tying the voice two whole note from measure 25 and 26 together to get this monstrosity:

As you can see the ties are wrong. I could fix it by flipping the middle tie, but I don't like it that way, so I'll leave it like that and risk a side eye from the performer.

UPDATE: This one looks a little better.

UPDATE AGAIN: Never mind, that doesn't fix the underlying corruption.
Never mind!

If you click on the instrument name, the staff index appears below

Actually, no. You fix the error with voice 1 and satisfy the validator so it doesn't show the error anymore.
But the problem remains. You can verify this by deleting mp dynamic in parts. You'll find that dynamic won't be deleted in full score.
> The question is what caused this?
Without adding double/dashed/dotted... barline I can't reproduce this problem, so that's the prime suspect.

It affects the measure in the entire score. Delete the mp in the 1+2 clarinet part (which has a voice 1 and 2 whole note) and it still shows in the score. But not if you delete the mp in the clarinet 3 part.
So while there is still some kind of problem, it doesn't keep you from being able to work on the score. These kinds of things are why I don't do anything in parts until the score is finished.

No, I deleted the mp in both versions, saved both without error messages, and reloaded both and the mp's were still deleted. Obviously there is a problem here if I can't reproduce this but it's happening on your rig. Before deleting the mp, both loaded fine without errors.
UPDATE: One thing I did change on the Cadiz version is that I made the measure numbers visible on the top most staff and at every measure. But that didn't change anything else.

From what I could gather, the problem seems to be that the double barlines (and the original work has a lot of them) are causing corruption somehow. (See the mercuree post way above )

OK. I opened the cello part, went to rehearsal C (measure 25), and deleted the mp. Then I went to the score. The mp is gone. If this is what do did, then again, there is something wrong here. Full disclousure: I made all the measure numbers visible again.

Your version and Cadiz version are both using Muse Sounds. I did not change any mixer settings that are loaded.
Whenever I use Musescore, due to certain unrelated problems I've been having with Muse Sounds, I no longer use them and have reverted back to MS Basic.
Whatever sounds are being used during the creation of the uploader's file, that will be reflected in the mixer.
