Automatic Lyrics Centering Between Staves
In many choir compositions, multiple staves share the same lyrics (e.g., SATB closed scores where Soprano/Alto and Tenor/Bass share a staff). Currently, when adding lyrics, selecting a note (e.g., Soprano) places them closer to the top staff, requiring manual adjustments to center them. These adjustments are often subjective and rely on intuition, making it difficult to achieve perfect alignment by eye. It would be incredibly helpful if MuseScore could automatically center the lyrics between multiple staves.
I previously asked about this in a forum post and received helpful responses on how to manually adjust the lyrics. However, since this process is subjective and repetitive, I believe many other users would greatly benefit from an automatic centering feature.

You can reduce the space below lyrics in Format > Style > Lyrics, and that indeed is what I do for Closed Score SATB

Yes, this works nicely. But it also reduces the space between SA and TB staff, and in many cases more space is preferred. It would be nice if one could choose to fix the lyrics to the middle of both staves rather than to one of the staves. This way, when, for example, changing the distance using staff spacer, lyrics would move up and down to the appropriate position.

Then increase the space above lyrics instead

Doesn't solve the issue with spacers though
