sound font problem
Hello: I am a very happy MuseScore user with a subscription (user name: hummingbirdje; Mac laptop M1Pro, OS 12.7.6; Muse Score 4.4.4). I was messing around and trying to download some vocal/choral sounds and I managed to do someting to the orchestral sounds, they now sound terrible (in the mixer they point to MSbasic), I have erased the app and directories from my laptop, and done re-installs twice and my scores still dont sound the same as before. Can you help? thank you very much, Jeff

Re-install almost never works.
Open MuseScore and go to View>Playback setup and make sure Muse sounds is activated.

thanks bob - problem solved, had to re-install all the libraries
