beam properties
Greeting MScore people .
How do I beam sets of quavers with rests in between ...Bar by Bar discrete ...not all beamed together
Like the trombone 2 part below and NOT like the horn 2 part also attached...I forgot how I achieved it in trom 2 part !!

Tried that ...doesn't seem to work on 4.4.4 - seems to add beaming across bars !!

Works here on 4.4.4.
Enter a series of eighth notes alternating with eighth rests. Click to select an eighth rest.
On the Beam properties palette, click the Join beams tool.
Repeat as necessary.
I found that, if I wanted to beam across the middle rest, I got this:
To resolve this, I had to select the eighth note on beat 3 and click Join beams for it too.
