Unable to add a dotted line bracket with the words' bass pedal'
Hi, I would like my score to look like the image below, but im not sure how i can add the pedal line with the words ' bass pedal' on it. Thanks!

I tried that, but system or staff line is not dotted, and I also cannot change the wording in front as it is standardised as 'system' or 'staff',

Add the line then look in the Appearance section of the Properties tab and change the text and dottedness.

If you will want to re-use the same line you can add it to a palette.
