Midi Input Field Is Blank ( Has Been Blank Before 4.5 Release

I have a Midiplus AKM320 Midi keyboard, but for whatever reason it does not work with Musescore. I know for a fact that it works because when I use it in other programs such as Dorico or another DAW it has no issue. Trying to set it up in Musescore does not seem to work. Musescore recognizes the device but when selecting it the drop down goes blank: this is in edit/preferences/audio&midi/midi/midi input. It does not say "No device" it is simply blank. How do I fix the issue so I can use my keyboard within Musescore.
