Introducing notes and moving forward

The Musescore interface has always been designed for linear writing and progression. This is the main way to use the program, and most users are satisfied with it.

However, there are other uses, such as doing exercises in an educational environment, where linear writing and progression are not always ideal. For example, if you write at the end of a system and want to continue writing in the same place but in other voices, an annoying jump to the next system occurs.

Would it be possible to implement the option that when writing a note in Musescore, it does not advance to the next note or measure?

Thank you

Until that happens, and you are at the end of a page, drag the score a little to the left to show the first measure of the next page. That way when you fill a measure, the cursor jumps but the page won't.
