No way to know without a LOT more information, but my money would be on it being a PC issue. That's a very large score, but I have scores as large that don't lag. Try going to the bottom of the page at https://musescore.org/en/download and compare your computer's specs to the System requirements listed there. I predict that your computer doesn't meet some of them.
I know that some of the regulars here have computers that don't meet those requirements but are still able to run MuseScore, but I would expect that those computers would likely have problems with a score of that size.
