It's not a palette. It's in the "Properties" tab of a text field because "special characters" have no meaning outside a text field. It is there upon opening.

Now Musescore 4.5 won't open at all. I've deleted it and started with reinstalling but nothing happens. I can't even get into past scores. Jim
