Delete staves in score
I have imported a score from Finale to Musescore4.5. It now has 5 extra staves at the bottom of the piece. I would like to delete them.

A "stave" or "staff" lasts from the beginning to the end of the score. A "system" is one set of staves that runs from the left margin to the right margin of a page. Do you mean that you have five actual staves at the bottom of every system? or that you have extra measures at the end of the score?
If you actually have the extra staves, remove the "Instruments" from the Layout tab (upper left). If you have extra systems at the end of the score, click on Tools / Remove extra trailing measures from the main menu.
