Changing note duration doesn't preserve accidentals after using "input by duration"

1. Place a note with an accidental while in "input by duration" mode, OR place a note with an accidental, then enter and exit "input by duration" mode.
2. While not in note input mode, select the note.
3. Change its duration with the duration hotkeys or toolbar buttons.
4. The accidental is gone.

I would expect this behavior if I were still in note input mode, but outside of it, it seems like selecting a duration should change the existing note, not replace it. (Though I'm not sure if this is an outright bug, or simply an intended behavior that I find really unintuitive.)
