Muse Sound Viola Cracking

The Muse Sounds Viola has significant crackling issues during playback and exporting. Changing the buffer size, bit rate of headphones, reinstallation and all other attempts to fix this problem failed. My friend who also uses Musescore often experiences this issue as well. They use a device from 2006 whilst mine is from last year (2024). It does not seem to be an issue with our devices. Any help would be wonderful, however I believe this to be a bug.
