Multimeasure repeat 4.5, can't get it to work
I'm following the instructions here ..

... to insert a 2 measure repeat. If I drag straight from the "more" menu under repeats, it crashes Musescore. If I drag the 2 measure repeat to the pallet, then drag to the blank measures I get the attached message. I've also attached an image of where I'm trying to put the repeat. Is there a way to get this to work properly?
I'm on MacOS 15.3.2 (24D81)

Did you get it sorted?
I wonder if the issue might be that you have the multimeasure rest and not the actual bars selected. If you toggle multimeasure rests* and then select the bars, it should hopefully work :)
*I think it's ctrl + alt + M by default these days? It used to be just M, which is what I still use
You are talking about inserting a "2 measure repeat" but the notation on your example screenshot (song excerpt.jpg) shows a 2 measure rest.
So, assuming that you actually do want a two measure repeat, enter the notes for the two measures that are to be repeated. Then, with the cursor in the next measure--the first of the two where the repeat will fall--open the Repeats and jumps palette, find the two-measure repeat symbol (I have not added mine to the main palette yet), and add it.
If you want, you can drag the symbol and drop it on top of the first blank measure where the repeat begins. Easier is to have the measure selected and simply click the item from the palette.
