Metronome issue on export

I've been working on a pretty substantial composition lately, and recently, I used the metronome feature to check through some meter issues. However, since turning this feature on, every time I export the scores audio, there is a metronome playing in the exported MP3. I've toggled the metronome feature off. I've completely muted it in playback and turned the playback volume for the metronome all the way down. What am I supposed to do to get the click track of the metronome off my audio files?
