Screen Reader user with questions on copy/paste and changing tempo
Hey friends, new user trying to figure out some of the basics.
First, how do I change the tempo of my entire score while I'm working on it?
Secondly, how do I select notes and copy/paste them? I've tried the basic hotkeys and things don't seem to be selecting. Using shift left or right just seems to scootch notes around.
Thanks kindly for any assistance.

There are different ways to change tempo depending on what you want.
If you want to set the tempo permanently, add a tempo value from the Tempo palette.
If you already have a tempo value, you can edit it. If it's a metronome value, just double-click it and change the number. If it's a traditional Italian tempo marking (e.g., "Allegro" or "Lento"), you can modify the tempo it gives the score on the Properties tab of the tempo marking.
If, on the other hand, you simply want to change it temporarily, you can undock the Play Panel from the upper right. You do this by clicking the six dots just to the right of the Rewind / Play/Stop / Loop buttons. When undocked, it has a slider that allows you to temporarily slow or speed the piece by a percentage. This will affect any tempo markings in the score by the same percentage.
Search the MuseScore 4 Handbook for Tempo for more information. In particular, see Tempo markings, Playback controls, and [node/314560].

To select notes, click anywhere on the score. Then use Alt+Right and Alt+Left to move from one element to another. This walks through ALL items on the score. Use only Right and Left to move from one note to another. Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End go to the beginning and end of the score. Ctrl+Right and Ctrl+Left move to the first note in the next/previous measure.
