Musescore 4 Corrupted File- Can't Fix Please Please Please, Need Help

I was writing a saxophone quartet for a performance coming up, and after just working on it today the file corrupted and has been unable to open. I tried musescore evolution and renaming the backup, nothing has worked so far. If anyone could help me please, Id very much appreciate it.

  1. Musescore saves backup files in a hidden .mscbackup folder, which is located in the same place as your project file. There should be a file named .name_of_your_file.mscz~
    where "name_of_your_file" is the name of your project file.
    Copy it to another location, remove the ~ from the file name and try to open it.
