Fingerboard Diagram enhancement

I find the latest implementation of the Fingerboard Diagram very time consuming to use. I would must prefer a library of fingering shapes a fret board that can be added to a score (for example, a C7 guitar chord shape). The shape can then be renamed to, for example E7, and the chord shape will be moved to the proper fret location on the fretboard, rather than be reset to a default chord shape for E7. Currently, this requires recreating the chord shape in the properties panel, which is extremely time consuming.

Any thoughts?
