Multiple copies of app running

I'm on Mac OS, current version. I've recently downloaded the current version of MuseScore. When I "open recent" another copy of MuseScore launches. Both copies of MuseScore seem to work okay, but it makes me nervous. This is not normal on Mac OS. Please advise.

OS: macOS 15.3, Arch.: arm64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.5.2-251141402, revision: ac9d3bc

I believe that you are talking about this: When you open multiple scores, you get multiple instances of MuseScore Studio. This has been normal (on all operating systems) since the beginning of version 4.
