One assigns a note from a midi-keyboard to change the note length (half note, quarter, ...). If you use this note to change the note length in musescore, musescore no longer enters chords played on the midi keyboard correctly. The first note from the chord is entered as a separate note, whereas the rest of the notes from the chord are actually put as a chord.

Some further info: when I assign a different channel to the key, this problem doesn't occur. It only seems to happen when the channel of the key is not equal to 10.

A simple use case is the following:
1. assign the rest to the highest c on your keyboard.
2. enter note input mode
3. put a rest with your highest c
4. hit the chord c-e-g on the keyboard

You'll see that first a quarter C is put on the score and the next beat is the chord E-G.
