For what it is worth I remember this working in earlier revisions.
Targeted for 0.9.6 stable
Working on it
Fixed in r2905
The create key signature works now, with one major problem still, it won't actually place the key signature in the score! I've created a number of new key signatures in the create key signature window, but all of them act upon the score as if they were an all natural key signature. I love this program and I play and write a lot of middle eastern and asian music that requires microtonal key signatures and non-western keys, help please!
When I attempt to add the new custom key signature (after adding it to the key signature pallet), r2905 crashes. Occasionally it just acts as an all natural key signature like I mentioned before, but after a few attempts, it crashes.
garcho, for crash see #5068: Custom key signature crashes on add measures
For the moment, non western signature are only supported for display and not playback and this bug was about the display behavior only.
they don't display at all, rather, they display as the all natural (c major) key signature. my concern was only with what i could see on the screen. i'm using windows r2905
Wait for next nightly, this should be fixed.
thanks! it works fine now
