Slur loses keyboard focus on Shift+Tab in Edit Mode
MuseScore r2725 on Ubuntu 9.10
The present tab order for a slur in Edit Mode is inefficient. Every second Tab or Shift+Tab moves the focus away from the slur either to the main toolbar into the zoom settings dropdown or to the document's tab in the MDI of MuseScore.
STR:
1. Press S to create a slur: the slur is automatically in Edit Mode, the 4th handle has focus;
2. Press Shift+Tab to move focus to the third handle of the slur.
Actual results:
The focus goes to the document's tab. Pressing Tab is necessary to move it back to the slur.
Expected results:
The focus goes to the third handle of the slur in order not to disrupt further editing: I suggest the reversed tab cycle
4th slur handle <=> 3rd slur handle <=> 2nd slur handle <=> 1st slur handle <=> (tab bar) <=> main toolbar
Focusing the tab bar doesn't make much sense and could be dropped IMVHO completely.
Comments
I think it was working as expected when it was first implemented in r. 2015. See #2124: Moving to previous handle keyboard shortcut
Yes, this is a regression. The original implementation like in r2030 which I managed to build was a bit different from my suggestion though (Tab and Shift+Tab cycle within a slur, never going into the main toolbar), making it e.g. impossible to change zoom level with keyboard while in Edit Mode.
Do you need bisect? This could take very long.
