Sound Disappears

This problem only occurs when Musescore 2.0 beta 2 is open, making me assume it's a problem with the application. When I first open the application, the sound is fine. When I then plug in headphones, the sound is still fine. However, if I were to unplug my headphones, it cuts off the sound for my entire computer. The sound then starts working again if i plug in my headphones, but when I unplug them again, it cuts off. Only when i close the application does my computer's sound start working properly again.
