Musescore 2 Beta 2.0: Palm Mute

I'm currently writing a guitar tab and the song happens to have some palm muting in it. Is there a way to notate palm mute parts because I don't see anything related to that under the palettes. A way to notate it is fine, but a way to have a playback would great too. Thank you for your time.

'Instrument' (change) in the Text palette would allow a change of sound (although bare in mind that MS is about notation, rather than playback). There was discussion on whether it could be introduced via channel change.
