While editing a text element, such as a score title, NVDA and other screen readers dont read the text as you move the cursor.
Thanks for all your hard work on MuseScore and screen reader accessibility in particular.

Not sure if it's still relevant, but see also: #277496: [EPIC] Accessibility issues/suggestions
Right now (in released 3.2.3) screenreader is mostly not functioning due to Qt / NVDA issues that are mostly solved in Qt 1.12.4. But this remains not working even in my own builds with 5.12.4.
Fixed in branch 3.x, commit 9d1d59ac48
_fix #47326 Screen readers: Speak characters when editing text
When navigating textual elements (e.g. staff text) with the cursor
keys during editing, the screen reader will announce the name of the
character or word to the right of the caret (text cursor). It also
announces when characters are selected or deselected._
