Can I ... (about creating a simple score)
This may have been asked before but I could't find it.
What I'd like to be able to do is:
Play a simple melody line on my classical guitar , recording it on the PC as a MP3/WAVE/MIDI
Using musescore , open the MIDI file and be able to print out the melody line to use as a work sheet for an an arrangement.
I know from reading that once the arrangement is satisfactory , I can use the software to edit and finalize it.
Many thanks..

If the question is, can MuseScore open a MIDI file and make some attempt to automatically turn it into readable notation, the answer is yes.
Be aware that the chance you will get a good product without a lot of tweaking is very low. I think Musescore does this as well as any other product, but as far as I know, that's not very well. Good luck.

I'd say a single-note line played accurately in rhythm to a metronome should go well, even in 1.3, but 2.0 will do better in general - a *lot* better.
Many thanks.. it would be worth a try. Maybe if I'm carefull and play the line slowly I'll get a better recording / conversion.
