I just launched r2811 after a hard re-boot from a freeze and a message that the system had recovered from a serious fault.
MuseScore asked and then restored the session that had been in the program at the time of the crash.

YES! I`m starting to attempt to create plugins and I make it crash all the time. This feature Is life saving!
