Windows 7 Ultimate and CTASIO Warning.
Using Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel Pentium 4 Cpu 3.00 gHz
2.0 GB Ram
32 Bit OS
Creative SB Audigy 2 (wdm)
MuseScore 0.9.6 R2811 and latest stable release.
On Musescore start up a pop up
will appear that states:
CTASIO Warning
Creative ASIO
the Creative ASIO devices have Changed.
You may need to restart this program before
using creative ASIO devices.
The action of the pop up always opens after the museScore splash screen.
you must Click the OK button in the Creative Warning box 2 or more times
before the warning box disappears and MuseScore will continue to load..

You can try to change the audio out device in Edit->Preferences->I/O->Portaudio.
I have:
portaudio checked
api = MME Device = Mircosoft sound mapper - output
How would changing this effect CTASIO ?
Update: I tried:
api = MME Device = Mircosoft sound mapper - output
api = Windows Direct Sound Device = Primary Sound Driver
api = ASIO Device = Creative ASIO
api = Skeleton Device =
( Skeleton just loads api = MME Device = Mircosoft sound mapper - output
So I get the same error any way. )
No mater what is set in the io tab - the ASIO Warning still shows it's ugly head..

Could be a very ugly hack but
Do you still have this warning?

Well renaming the file did stop the warning, and yes, it is a hack.
one that needs to be fix corectly.

Sorry if it looks hacky but if you search Google, you'll see that all major software have issues with this ctasio.dll. I guess it's not the fault of the software packages.
I recently encountered the same problem when starting MuseScore on a 64bit Windows 7 machine. I found an additional file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\CTASIO.DLL which I had to rename in order to suppress the warning message.

I had to go into regedit- did a search, and after i removed the first 10 or so incidents, the warning stopped. You can safely remove all you find in the registry- as long as you don't need any creative asio devices.
