Note stems missing!
I was just trying to format my piece/add dynamics and then suddenly my note stems in the cello part started to disappear! Could someone please help me??

I can't really upload the XML file, it's about 8 mb

If there is no impediment factor you can upgrade to 1.3?
Also consider the 2.0 beta2 (soon the stable version)

Meanwhile, enter a new instrument (Cello2);
Copy and paste the previous Cello1 in the new staff;
Delete Cello1.

Since you mentioned XML, was this score an XML file imported into MuseScore, or did you create it from scratch using MuseScore?
Also, when posting to the forums, it would help if you mention what version of MuseScore you are using. A brand new release, MuseScore 2.0, is currently completing beta testing and will be released next month. See:

At that point any bugs/problems in MuseScore 1.3 will probably be answered with the following: "See if your file opens correctly with MuseScore 2.0".
Meanwhile, see if this attachment works for you.
(The denominator of the time signature appears offset when opened in MuseScore 1.3, however it displays correctly in a nightly I tested it in.)
