Time signature displayed but has no affect after deleting courtesy

Steps to reproduce bug
1. Create new score in 4/4
2. Add quarter notes for the first 5 or 6 measure so you can see how many beats each measure has
3. Drag 3/4 time signature to measure 5
4. Drag line break to measure 4
5. Click to select courtesy time signature and the end of measure 4
6. Press Del

Expected behavior: Two possible expectations
(1) deleting courtesy should also remove the main time signature in the next measure (this is how key changes currently behave)
(2) the courtesy time signature should disable itself but the time signature in the next measure should remain in affect (similar to the description here: http://musescore.org/node/4370 )

Actual behavior: courtesy time signature disappears. Measure 5 still shows a 3/4 time signature but all the measures actually have four beats

MuseScore version: r. 2867 nightly

Now deleting the courtesy time signature has the same effect of removing the line break.
This behaviour seems logical to me.
