Brushes are not part of the GM standard, so they are not part of the default drum kit. But they are part of some of the GM 2 extensions should be available in the "jazz" drum kit for many soundfonts. I'm not really clear on how to access these, though. Experiment with Mixer and the Drum Set definitions.
If you're in the Mixer and you have selected a drumset staff, then clicking the dropdown menu that says "Standard" by default should popup a menu that includes several brush options. Not really sure how they work, but hopefully that at least gets you started.
My assumption is you need yo know the right MIDI pitches to use with them, they wouldn't just use the same pitches. But I have no insight into what pitches you would need to use instead.
I mean, I don't know what changes you would need to make to the MIDI pitches in Edit Drumset, that's something you will need to experiment with. presumably the brush sounds are there at some specific MIDI pitches, but you'll have to experiment with the drumset editor to find them.

Why not add them yourself?
Of course you could always use one of the brush drumsets supplied with the default soundfont!
