Single Ornament for Sustain Pedal Down

I often compose piano pieces with the sustain pedal down from start to finish to allow for chord-bleeding. Normally i just use the abbreviation "sus." to direct the pianist that the sustain pedal will be held down throughout the piece.
As a workaround, i've had to use the Ped. line and Shift-Alt-Right-Arrow the line all the way thru the piece, then hide the line.

I'd love to define this MIDI event in an ornament or staff text.
