Intuitive arpeggio placment
in 0.9.5 and 0.9.6b, the placement of an arpeggio into the music requires that an arpeggio from the palette be dragged onto a note. It would be more intuitive if the arpeggio mark could be added by also dragging in front of the notes to which it will be applied. Currently dragging an arpeggio mark in front of a chord does nothing. So to a novice user, the feature appears to be broken, particularly since they will expect to drag the arpeggio mark to where it will be visually displayed in the score.
The last two arpeggio marks (the gliss.) would behave differently than the regular arpeggio marks. When placed in front of the note, they would be applied to the preceding note (and ending on the following note). Likewise, the placement when dropped between notes would be to insert the gliss sign where it would visually be seen in the score.
Comments
Currently to place articulations, accidental etc... you need to select a note. So it seems correct and coherent to have the same behavior for arpeggios. If we change it for arpeggios we'll need to consider the change for all others symbols.
