Beams correctly connected?
I want achieve this result: 3/4 measure, with 6 eighth notes connected in the Second voice.
So: open this file: test file_1.mscz
1) Select the second measure
2) For the example: in the Beam Properties palette, double-click on the first symbol (beam start) or the third (single note), see following image
Result, as expected:
3) Now, repeat the same operation (select second measure) -> double-click on the second sign (beam medium)
Result.
Correct or not?
The expected result would be rather this one?
4) Finally, select all: Ctrl + A
When you make double-click on the first or the third sign: result OK
If you Select All -> double-click on the second sign, you receive this. What do you think about this?
EDIT: I know that it works (for the first image-example) if I select the third and the fifth 8th, then double-click on the second sign.

You have selected all the notes and instructed MS to treat them all as "beam middle" which it has done (albeit with the last measure beam in the wrong place). This is as expected. If you select only notes 2,3,4,5,6 of each measure and do "beam middle" then the beams will look like you want them to.
It would be better, mind you, if MS defaulted to excluding the first notes of each measure when multiple notes are selected.
Applying "Beam middle" to the first note of a measure is how you create beams across barlines, so this is indeed the correct / expected result. I would not be comfortable for treating this differently according to whether you have selected mutliple notes or not. Making a selecting and double clicking a palette icon has the effect of applying the icon to each item in the selection - it works that way everywhere else, I don't think it should work differently here.
The glitch you see in the last example with a beam appearing in the wrong place is caused by this bug, which I sure I wish I could have solved for 2.0: #16278: Beaming notes over barlines and line breaks

Understood. Thanks.
N.B. I had tested there is some weeks-months the last mentionned bug. Impossible to locate. Very former issue.
