MIDI Playback is working.. now, no MIDI input
OK, using Jack and the newest pre-release, I can get MIDI playback working just fine. However, I do not have MIDI note entry. I've set the audio card in Control panel to use the eternal MIDI driver, which worked before, Help! Do I need to turn off Jack to note enter and then restart it for playback.
Using Windows XP, Muscscore Version 0.9.6 -pre-release.

Have you tried entering the notes via the MIDI device you are using?

I'm sorry, still new to this Forum thing. I had posted asking how to get MIDI playback and it was suggested I go to the new version and Jack. Prior to that, I was able to get notes into a score via the MIDI keyboard. Now, I can't do that at this point. I can only point and click or key enter notes.

Here is VenetianMilw's original post on this topic: http://musescore.org/en/node/5884
I'm afraid you are right. Midi input uses Portaudio/PortMidi and defining Jack Midi as your output, PortAudio is not initialize and so you don't have MIDI in... I guess MIDI in should be decoupled from MIDI/Audio out.

Is this something I should post as a bug? Or does someone have a work around?
