Missing the Copyright Text Feature
I used that a lot when creating scores. Can you put it back in with an update? Thank you.

Use "$C", "$c", or "$:copyright:" in header and/or footer and put the copyright info into File → Info → copyright
This is, obviously, not a very good way for it to work. Maybe we'll see something better in the future? https://musescore.org/en/node/39571#header-footer

What's not very good about it? It's information you wish to place in the footer; what's wrong with editing the footer to place that information there? That's how most other applications I know (word processors etc) do it. Only issues is that it isn't a full text editing area with font controls etc, and of course, no built in way to insert the copyright character.

"Only issues is that it isn't a full text editing area with font controls"—well, yes, that's part of it. But this is definitely nothing at all the way it usually works in word processors. Usually, you can edit the footer by double-clicking on it, and you have all the usual controls of font, font size, bold/italic, etc. available while you do it. Usually you don't have to open a separate window, choose a pane from its sidebar, type what you want to type, close the window, open a different window, choose a pane from its sidebar, and edit the text style. But this is the process you have to go through in MuseScore 2.0. To me, this is not very good. As always, though, others may think differently.

Oh, no, I agree that the specific method you need to use to edit the footer is not ideal. I thought you were talking about the fact that this was made into a footer at all.

3 years have passed, is there a way to change the font of the copyright info? In my case I need part of it to be bold.
