Can anyone show me how to get the score to look like this?
I've tried and tried but everything I did was useless, so I decided to ask for your help. Plz answer asap. I sooooo appreciate your kindness.

The trick is to use two voices for the upper staff. First enter the whole note with voice 1 and then switch to voice 2 to enter then quarter notes with mouse.
I believe that in your example two quarter rests are missing in the second voice.

I'm sorry but I don't quite get what you say, I'm a newbie xd
The "voices" you're saying here, is it the purple, green, yellow, pink things on the tool bar?
I clicked it and I tried to put in the notes, but it didn't work...I don't know why. Can you plz be more specific?
