Tuplets (Apologies for opening this discussion up again)
I've looked at older topics and I confess I'm still kind of in the dark about how the tuplets work on MuseScore. I've been trying to get 17 semiquavers into a 3/4 bar but all the tinkering around I've done hasn't really worked. Same goes for 10 quavers in 3/4. Is there a way to notate these or do I need to split them up?

Are you using the latest version 0.9.6?
Yep, I've already looked at the handbook but it doesn't seem to say how to use the "other" option in the tuplets pulldown menu and yes, I'm using version 0.9.6
You mention that you want 17 semiquavers in a the space of 12 normal semiquavers (3 beats of 4 semiquavers). In the "Other" dialog you would need to type relation: 17 / 12
