Audio stopped working on program altogether

Hi, I tried to add my keyboard midi cable and although it appeared to attach ok when I tried to enter notes on the keyboard it didn't work. I had a look at the information other people had put online and tried several things that were suggested, but they didn't work either. Now the audio playback has frozen altogether. It is working ok on you tube and to listen to CDs but not on Musescore. So I deleted the program and reloaded it, however the sound is still frozen. Can you help please.

It is better to ask for help in the Support forum, and use the Issue tracker only when a bug has been confirmed. Check out the Handbook and the section "Revert to factory settings". If that doens't restore the sound, then please start a thread in the support forum giving more information, such as what OS you are on, what you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and what you see in View / Synthesizer.
