PDF rendition gives fuzzy noteheads
Please see attached files:
The pdf file is not of the best quality. The noteheads especially are not sharp enough. Is this an issue with the pdf producer or are there any settings that need further adjutment?

Which version of MuseScore are you using? On which operating system? Which PDF reader are you using?
Here is a close up of your PDF with Preview, the default PDF reader on Mac. It looks sharp to me.

I'm using MuseScore 2.0.1. Windows 7 Home Premium, Adobe Reader X. I've also looked at them in Adobe reader XI on a Win 8 PC and they look the same.
At 119% magnification, the noteheads definately do look somewhat fuzzy.

When magnifying by odd amounts like 119%, it wouldn't be uncommon for PDF readers to need to approximate some thing. Try 200%, or 400%, etc - exact multiples of 100%. I'm viewing your file at 400% on my computer and it looks crystal clear here as well.
