Cant type certain letters or numbers
I dont know why, but for some reason I cannot type the letter "C" or the number "1" in musescore. This is for typing lyrics, tempos, titles, or any other text. The only way I've been able to get around this is by typing it somewhere other than musescore (like a word document or web browser), then copying it and pasting it into where I want it in musescore. Any reason why this is happening to me?

Very odd. What version of MuseScore, what OS, and can you attach the specific score you are having problems with?
I am guessing you muight have inadvertently defined these to be keyboard shortcuts for a command that is active in text edit mode. Reverting your keybaords to the default should fix that if so (edit / preferences / shortcuts).

Hello, I am using Musescore 2.0.1 on a Windows 8 computer, and this problem occurs on every score. I have tried resetting all shortcut preferences to the default, but unfortunately the problem is still there. I opened a new score, as well as a few of my current scores and I was still not able to type "1" or "c".

What country are you in? Is it a standard keyboard for your country?
You could also try a more complete reset - see the Hanbook under "Revert to factory settings".
